Private Practice Surgery – Membership Terms & Conditions

Our core ethos for Private Practice Surgery is to help consultant doctors, surgeons and physicians grow a healthy private practice through better marketing. This document details from the outset the way in which we will deliver our services to you. If you are planning to join Private Practice Surgery, (“the Membership”) then you must read these terms and conditions in full prior to purchasing.

1. Membership Terms & Conditions (‘Terms’): Key Details

These Terms cannot be varied and in proceeding to purchase the Membership you will be deemed to have accepted these Terms. The Terms set out below apply to the services offered by Private Practice Surgery. Please read them carefully as they affect your rights and liabilities under law and set out the Terms under which Private Practice Surgery (“we”, “our” or “us”) provide services to you, as purchaser of the Membership. These Terms are subject to any rights you have under consumer law to which we are bound and which cannot be waived by contract.

Please be aware that we may update these Terms at any time. Your continued use of the Membership indicates your acceptance of the terms and agreement to any changes.

2. Membership Outline

Private Practice Surgery is a membership platform for Consultant Doctors, Surgeons and Physicians in private practice who want to grow their business through marketing. Membership is an ongoing commitment where you can get regular support and guidance.

The aim of the membership is to provide training, resources, support and community around the topic of marketing and promoting a medical private practice. It is specifically designed for medical Consultants, and not other healthcare professionals operating in private practice, such as physiotherapists and osteopaths, as examples.

3. Eligibility

This membership is suitable for medical consultants who practice privately, or plan to soon. This typically means a qualified doctor or surgeon with practising privileges at a private hospital or clinic.

4. Membership Specifics

There are four main elements to the Membership:

  1. Training courses
  2. Downloadable guides and resources
  3. Monthly Q&A Sessions
  4. A members-only forum

      Training courses

Training courses will be led by one of the Private Practice Surgery team, typically Chris Rogers or Carolyn Watson. From time to time they may also be joined by other speakers appointed by Chris Rogers, or external expert speakers where appropriate.

Members will have instant access to the training courses. New courses and training will also be instantly available and accessible via the member dashboard, library and learning management platform.

The information and guidance shared will be based on the marketing training, qualifications and experience of the trainers, and their experience in the healthcare marketing sector.

      Monthly Q&A Sessions

Each month you will get the chance to ask questions about marketing your private practice. Every member will get the opportunity to ask questions during the live event, and members will also be able to ask questions in advance if they are unable to attend. Questions should be submitted in advance in the community forum.

      Downloadable guides and resources

In addition to the training courses and monthly Q&A sessions there will be additional training resources available for members to consider in their own time. We have a ready-made library of content that will be continually and routinely added to. The library includes checklists, guides and other video training, as well as a Divi website layout that can be used for your own website.  For best results you should work through the Marketing Foundations Pathway in your own time. Failure to do so may limit your ability to learn from the tips and guidance shared in the live sessions. The content of all resources and training will be provided in English, translations are not available.

      A members-only forum

You will have access to a members-only forum to support you during the Membership. The intention of the forum is to provide community support and a network of individuals at a similar stage of their private practice and who are facing similar challenges.

From time to Chris Rogers may post and offer support in the forum but there is no guarantee that posts will be responded to immediately or that forum mailboxes will be monitored.

Please be advised that whilst we hope that you will be able to utilise the forum, we make no guarantees as to the availability and/or the content within it at any time. Therefore, always ensure that you have back-up copies of any information shared within the forum.

      5. Behaviour

It is requested that at all times your behaviour towards others is polite and respectful. Should your behaviour be deemed offensive or inappropriate we reserve the right to remove you from the Membership with immediate effect.

Each person is responsible for their own behaviour and we will not be held responsible for the behaviour or actions of any other Members.

      6. Membership Fees and Payment Terms

The cost of the Membership is set at the time you subscribe and is currently exclusive of VAT. On subscription, you will agree to monthly payments via our payment gateway, Stripe.

The Membership is an ongoing monthly or annual subscription and payment will be taken on the same day each month or year.

We reserve the right to change the content and delivery of the services within the membership and the associated price point at any time. 7. Refunds and Cancellation

It is our aim that you will be completely happy with the Membership and grow a successful private practice through marketing. However, we appreciate that there may come a time when you wish to leave the Membership.

Throughout the Membership we will be available by email during working hours (9am – 5pm), with an expected response time of two working days.

You may see us post on social media outside of our core hours. Not all of these posts are live and some will be pre-scheduled. We are passionate about supporting everyone in the Membership and where we can we may respond to you out of hours but we make no guarantees that this will always be possible.
